Fire Class

Definition

A1	A1 class materials, do not contribute to combustion at any stage of the fire including the fully developed fire. Therefore, it is automatically considered to provide all the properties determined enough to lower grades of these materials.
A2	TS EN 13823 provides the criteria set according to Class B. In addition, these materials under fully developed fire must be contributing significantly to the fire load and fire growth
B	In addition to the criteria set for the C-Class it provides more stringent requirements.

PAINTED STEEL SHEET AND PROPERTIES

Considering the role of the type of content of polymer binder in the dye, painted plates can be classified as follows ;

Polyester (SP) Based Steel Sheet: The most important characteristics of the polyester paints are, wide range of color and brightness choice and economy. According to this, they can be widely used. Besides, elasticity, resistance to abrasion, resistance to corrosion, resistance to humidity and impact resistance are high.

Foreign strength, the low chalking resistance and gloss retention can be listed as weaknesses. Polyester coating thickness can vary between 60μm with 20-25μm depending on usage area and expected performance. Widespread use of polyester coated sheet steel; roof-facade closures, sandwich panels, garage doors, ceiling lfoor, clamp construction, white appliances and water drainage systems.

PVDF Based Painted Steel Sheet: The most important characteristics of the PVDF paints are, color and brightness resistance, chalking resistance and resistance to many chemicals are high. Also, elasticity, impact resistance and resistance to abrasion are good.

The low scratch resistance, color and brightness of the lack of options, specified as diverse as polyester paint can be counted as weaknesses. PVDF paints thickness can be vary between 25 μm-28 μm.
Widespread use of PVDF coated sheet steel because they have the best color and brightness stability, they can be used roof and facade closures, sandwich panels where the efficient of sun high. Also, they are suitable for composite production, and advertisement panels.

Polyurethane Based Painted Steel Sheet (PUR-PA): This type of paint with polyamide reinforced has a very high scratch and abrasion resistance. Polyurethane-based paints are applied as smooth or textured (PURPA Texture). Corrosion resistance, color and gloss retention and forms shapeability is also good. Although polyurethane paint thickness can be vary between 20 μm-25 μm, greater thickness options can be obtained. Widespread use of polyurethane coated sheet steel; Because of the high scratch resistance, they are preferred in applications where scratch resistance is important as production such as garage doors and blinds (roller shutter) .

Plastisol Based Painted Steel Sheet (PVC(P)): According to other types of paint they have much higher application thickness. 100-200 µm dry film thicknesses are widely used. The most important characteristics are resistance to corrosion and humidity and also suitability of embossing application. Paint types are suitable as a bend and shape. The color and brightness strengths can be specified as the weaknesses. Therefore, in regions where solar radiation is not very effective (i.e. Northern Europe) it is widely used. Widespread use of plastisol base sheet steel; The applications where UV resistance is not very important and roof-facade closures requiring high corrosion resistance of the coatings.

For Polyester, PVDF and Polyurethane based painted steel sheet, standart applications are 25±3μ for non
metallic colours and 23±3μ for metallic colours. Different thickness applications are also possible. 100-200 μm dry film thicknesses (with tolerance) are used.

LOADING, PACKING AND STORAGE

Long sizes load dispersion mechanism must be used, it should not be allowed to crush the side panel of the sling.

Storage !!!
Products should be placed in flat, stable so as to be protected from pollution, humidity and
damage. The elements must be prevented from water accumulation by placing slightly inclined.

Packaging layer should be cut from the front torecive air.

If the element may not be used immediately, they must be protected from direct sunlight and bad
weather, otherwise protective film may stick. More than two bales should be placed on top.
Unless, aluminum panels will be used for a long time period, stacks should be opened and the panels should be stored as ribs on top and it should be protected from the weather conditons.

For stacking on top of the other, lower support should not be larger than 150 cm. In appropriate conditions and short term holding, maximum 3 packages can be superposed.

No more than 2 packages storages is recommended.

 

Keep away from superposing for long term holding.
The top of the stack should be covered against rain and sun.

Rockwool panels should not be exposed to rainfall in any way during the storage.
